![]() Everything about this camera solve worked like normal, except the need for masking and at the export stage, you have to change from ‘moving camera static scene’ to ‘static camera moving scene’. I used some of the mesh tools in Boujou to connect the tracking points together and form a mesh which everything could be parented to in Maya this could be then exported with the camera solve as an obj file. Download SynthEyes Pro (formerly SynthEyes) - A professional software solution for motion tracking that provides with a wide selection of object and 3D tracking options, as well as a large number. I noticed straight away that these trackers were all staying in place perfectly and I couldn’t believe how well Boujou was handling a camera solve like this. This tracking process was very straight forward, as all I had to really do was create an animated mask around the actors face in Boujou and hit ‘track features’. ![]() I opted for this as it meant I didn’t have to download and learn a full new suite. I started to research into proper geometry tracking software like Syntheyes, but I found a tutorial on how to do it with Boujou while I was looking. My shot requires that I object track the actors face in order for the CG face to stick on it properly.
